and i believe most 'elite' alliances are loosing core members,

why should RD be gone if all the old HC members are gone?
It's like they are not allowed to continue RD

Just because your alliance disbands or ends, it does not mean your time or fun in DG is over. For some members RD is all they have ever known in their DG major alliance life, there are other people out there...

I'm not sure whether this is the place for non RD opinions, but..

I think RD ultimately now is ending because you recruited great players, but not ones that necessarily you got on with, shared general opinions or that you even liked. Members grouped together and treated those as their alliance and not so much the other members of RD. I feel some members only worked together with other members because it was the only way to suceed, not because they actually wanted to work together.

For any RD wanting to start new alliances, recruit members that you actually like and can work with. It is not mutually exclusive that you can have a whole alliance of members that you like, share ideals with and have fun with, and be a success and a high ranking alliance.

You paid the price for making game ability your prime recruiting importance.

I remember when RD was a fluffy signature on a few forum members...

Hm... Finally, somebody noticed it. When I was in RD last round, it was still somehow nice. I could talk to some people, but during the round, it got more and more quiet. I thought this was because of the crappy end of Round 4, but later I understood it wasn´t. It was just the athmosphere in RD which had somehow changed. People showing there score were more common then people telling storys from their Reallifes.
Of course, RD had always been an extremly strong alliance ingame, but the alliance that I experienced during the speedround (between round 3 and 4) and the beginning of Round 4 wasn´t the same alliance I experienced at the end of the round.
People started talking behind each others backs, and ingame activity and score were the only thing important. Finally, the fact that I joined FL this round seems to be more and more positive then it seemed at the beginning.

I wish good luck to all Ex-RD members, but I think it was sure that this would happen, there just was not enough REAL communication anymore if you ask me, and this round, it was clear it would get worse.

It was not me who disolved the alliance...
Team spirit was gone, and killed the alliance.
Alot of ppl were leaving and there was alot of discontent.
IF you read my post more clearly you will see that it was just stating that RD had changed.
Alot of ppl are angry becouse they say I blew up RD.
Only thing I did was fuel the conversation.
If RD was going so good, it would not have had the impact it had.

To BigD: guess you are still mad @ me becouse I didn't supported you for the position of Admiral... You are a great player but handling an alliance is not a thing you excel in.. I am sorry.

Hope the new alliance "Running with scissors" will succeed and harbor the RD players that are left without an alliance.

To all angry ppl I would like to say:
It was hard that I put the issue on the DG forums..
But otherwise RD would have limped along, and that's even worse imho.

Riithi bows to all dogs and ex-dogs.

1) Its "Running with Scissors"
2) You did even a worse job being in RD this round, ****ing of good people, and last but not least not give RD the chance to get over all trouble we had in the first weeks this round.
3) BigD is indeed a good player, but he wasnt given a chance to lead an alliance due to all quits and other problems.

lmao riithi, this has nothing to do with how u feel of me as admiral. i hold no grudges. what i am upset about is u your words. So some old RD couldnt stay, big deal. u basically sh*t on everything RD members were doing to keep RD a top alliance. We had the fewest members of any alliance in the top 20, had the 3rd highest average, and were fighting 2 wars. u might know this if u could take some time to play like many loyal RD members did. So what old members left ? we had more old members. so what we had some problems? we could of worked thru them. We thought RD was ours, we didnt know it was yours. I am disappointed because i have been RD for a long time, like many others still playing, and wanted to keep RD good.

DE lost all five HC members this round ... they are still kicking ... don't see why its Riithi's fault.
